Whether seeking assistance with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulty, divorce, questions of sexuality, life transitions, grief – or seeking to explore what a more meaningful & interesting life might look like, having a guide to assist with the process of reflection and introspection can be transformative.
If you would like to work with your dreams in order to address some of the issues above, I ask that you keep a record of your dreams. Send them or bring them to our meetings. When we meet for sessions, we will use your dreams as the anchor that guide our discussions.
If you would like to work with a specific difficulty without dreamwork, we can do that too. A short-term, solution-focused approach is often best for this kind of work.
Both approaches address issues significant to the client. One is inductive, where dream symbols show us what the unconscious perspective is and how that perspective operates in relation to client's issues. The other approach is deductive and we begin with focusing on the specific problem, and map how it is contextualized in the client's life and consider how to address the problem.
